Cape Breton Bible Camp

Cape Breton Bible Camp is one of 39 camps across Canada owned and operated by One Hope Canada. Its primary mission is to share the Gospel with those who have had little opportunity to hear about Christ-focusing on children and youth-and to disciple believers for life and service in His Church. Since 1967, Cape Breton children gone there to to learn about Jesus, forge new friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Many in our congregation have served at the camp as volunteers, campers, staff members, and even directors, witnessing firsthand the remarkable work God is doing in this special place on our Island.

The SamandoulGou Family & Justice Water

Based in Togo, Africa, Ibrahim, Sara, Lanaïa, Kévah, and Janika Samandoulgou are a family working hard to bring clean water, sanitation, and the Gospel to families in villages lacking access to safe water or toilet facilities, which makes life not only difficult, but dangerous. Their goal through Justice Water is to bring these basic needs to as many rural African villages as possible, while sharing God’s love with everyone they encounter along the way. The work they are doing is absolutely vital, and they have helped a number of villages obtain wells with clean water, and safe toilet facilities!

Louis Charrier

From a Roman Catholic background, Louis Charrier gave his life to Christ on March 22, 1978, alongside his wife, June! Since beginning the planting ministry 1986, Louis has become known as a “prolific”church planter (seeding 20 churches), many in forgotten, impoverished rural communities. Louis currently Pastors four churches in Louisiana, and the work is extensive. While God has blessed Louis with an incredible amount of energy and stamina (and the ability to speak both French and English), he would certainly covet our prayers.
